Ringkasan Sinopsis "The Suspicious Housekeeper" (2013)

Drama Korea terbaru "The Suspicious Housekeeper" mengisahkan tentang seorang ayah bernama Sang Eun Chul (diperankan oleh Lee Sung Jae) beserta empat orang anaknya, yang ditinggal meninggal mendadak istrinya. Keluarga ini mendapatkan kesulitan. Lalu, seorang pembantu rumah tangga misterius bernama Park Bok Nyuk (Choi Ji Woo), yang ibunya bunuh diri karena urusan ayahnya datang kepada keluarga tersebut. Kedatangan Bok Nyuk membuat suasana keluarga Sang Eun Chul bergejolak, namun mereka yang awalnya saling membenci perlahan-lahan mulai saling mencintai.

Drama Korea terbaru ini merupakan remake dari serial drama Jepang yang berjudul "Kaseifu no Mita" yang sempat disiarkan oleh NTV pada 12 Oktober 2011-21 Desember 2011. Bagaimana akhir drama Korea ini?

Butterfly On a Wheel (2007)

What happens when your perfect life is put to test and you see everything you have lived for falling apart? Neil (Butler) and Abby Randall (Bello) are happily married with an adorable daughter. Like any other normal day, they set to work only to realise that they have been carjacked by a lunatic with a gun. Tom (Brosnan) has kept their daughter hostage with the 'planted' babysitter and threatens to harm her if they don't do exactly what he asks them to do. He somehow doesn't seem to be behind their money and never actually tells them what he wants and leads them on a wild goose chase across the city. Although the movie is built on an interesting plot with a strong star cast, it fails to deliver and doesn't quite seem to click. The story has it's bits of thrills, twists and turns but it seems too far-fetched and hard to believe. Based on too many assumptions and co-incidences, it is not the kind of story that can hold your attention for too long. Had they utilised the plot outline to draft a more solid script, perhaps this movie would have been a true thriller than what it actually turned out to be.
